What is the difference between brow threading and waxing?
Waxing and threading both have the aim of removing the unwanted hair from the follicle, providing up to four weeks' worth of well-shaped brows depending on how fast an individual’s hair grows.
Waxing is suited for clients that find threading uncomfortable. Waxing is quick and instant. However, it is not suitable for anyone with extremely sensitive skin, undergoing chemical peels, or using Retinol skin care products. With the wax, your brow artist might use a tweezer to complete the brow shape.
Threading is suitable for those with sensitive skin as this technique is gentler. No chemicals or heat are used so you are less likely to have an adverse reaction. Threading is a more precise technique than waxing when it comes to brow shaping. However, with threading, you might feel that the process is a bit uncomfortable since it is an ongoing process.
Choosing between the two is really about personal preference as both provide fantastic results. Although I would say that threading is currently the most requested method by my clients.
How do I prepare my skin before threading/waxing?
I would recommend;
-
Staying out of direct sunlight before and after your waxing or threading
-
If opting for wax avoid using products that contain AHA’s
-
Always book your Brow treatment before your Spray Tan appointment
-
Applying a cooling pack to calm down the skin.
-
Avoid applying make-up to the area directly afterward as the follicles are open which can lead to pimples.
Men’s brow styling?
Embrace your thick brows!
All you need is a bit of tidy up, trimming, and perhaps a tiny amount of styling.
Male eyebrows can be thick and still looked groomed, because men, in general, have large brows. The amount of thickness they end up with is there for a reason; it balances other facial features. We use a thread or wax to remove unwanted hairs between the brows. According to the eyebrows' natural shape and the face structure, we then style them in a way that they are full and more straight as seen in George Clooney than arched to avoid that feminine look. :)
What is henna brows?
Henna brows are a form of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the skin beneath the brow hairs while tinting the brow hairs. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness. Henna is a natural dye made from a plant known as Hina. Henna has been around since ancient Egyptian times when it was used for many purposes such as dyeing hair, clothes, fabrics, and makeup.
What does the henna brows process involve?
The process for henna brows is very similar to normal brow tinting and the shades have been formulated to cater to eyebrow tones.
We follow the natural shape of the client's eyebrows and outline the shape with our Golden Ratio measuring method. Then henna is applied and left on the brows between 15-20 min depending on the skin type and desired color by our clients. To give the very subtle and natural look we leave the henna for less time on the front of the eyebrows to achieve an Ombré look. (Lighter color from the front and darker from the middle to the end of the eyebrows). We offer different shades in Henna color range from Blonde and light Brown to Bold and Dark Brown for darker skin tone.
How long normal tint lasts comparing to henna tint?
It highly depends on the skin type (oily/dry), Skincare, and your lifestyle.
Normal tint lasts about 2-3 days on the skin and up to 2-3 weeks on the hairs vs Henna last up to a week on the skin and up to 4 weeks on the hairs. Henna lasts longer than normal tint and gives a more defined look to the brows comparing normal tint. If you chose a darker color in Normal Tint or Henna you will have the longer-lasting result comparing to the lighter shades which fade quicker.

Lash Bar
What is lash lift?
We often tend to use a mechanical curler to lift and curl our lashes without knowing that it eventually damages our natural lashes as it intensely bends and sometimes breaks the natural lashes. Plus, mechanical curler does not have long term result and you have to repeat it every day. The good news is that you still can lift and curl your beautiful lashes with the Lash Lift process which takes 45 minutes and lasts from 4- 6 weeks. Lash Lift fully utilizes the direction of the natural lashes and makes them look more alive. Your eyelids will look lifted as well because the new height of the lashes will look that your eyes are more refreshed and younger. With adding a lash tint to the process you will have wow lashes for sure.
What does the Process involve?
7 simple steps in 45 minutes;
-
For lashes to hold the lift perfectly and for the longevity of the lash lift treatment, the technician will remove your eye makeup and cleanse your lashes entirely.
-
Your lower lashes will be covered with ‘100% Plant Extract Eye-patch’ which hydrates and helps to tighten the under-eye skin.
-
Silicone Pads will be placed on your eyelid to protect your eyes as well as to provide a base to hold the lashes.
-
Bonding Gel is used to hold the lashes in an upward and outward direction.
-
Lift Solution will be spread out along your lashes covering 3/4 of the lashes for about 6-10 min depending on the strength and thickness of your lashes.
-
The next step is to set the lift. A setting lotion then will be applied throughout the lashes for about 6-10 mins again depending on the strength and thickness of the lashes. It also helps to hydrate and nourish your beautiful lashes.

Cosmetic Tattooing
What is Microblading/Feathering? How long does it lasts?
It is semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing in which superfine strokes like hairs are created on the eyebrows to fill the gaps and create a naturally fuller look. It lasts between 6-18 months depending on different factors such as clients’ skin type, lifestyle, and skincare routine. Microblading or Feathering provides a realistic, fuller, and symmetrical look on the eyebrows. It is also a good option for clients who can not yet be fully committed to a more permanent look. Microblading or feathering requires more re-touching than other techniques and its not a suitable method for oily skin.
What is Ombre/Powder brows? How long does it last?
In Ombre/Powder Fill Brows, small dots of pigment will be created with the help of nano-needles. In this method, the pigment gradually creates a diffused powdery look with the gradient of colour from dark to light. This method does not look blocky or too intense. it is similar to the look of makeup. In this technique, the tails of the eyebrows look darker and fade into a light start to the brow and give a perfect Ombre make up effect. Ombre/ Powder Brow Technique lasts longer compared to the Feathering/ Microblading method typically around 2-3 years on average depending on skin type and the client’s lifestyle. This method can be combined with Microblading to create a very natural and more defined look which is called COMBINATION BROWS (COMBO BROWS).

What happens in the consultation session?
We always recommend a Patch Test and a Consultation Session before the actual treatment.
Consultation session helps us to understand your expectations and if they can be realistically achieved. We also ask you about your skin type, lifestyle, skincare routine and your general health condition to recommend the best technique possible.
Consultation helps you to understand if you meet the criteria of any of the cosmetic tattooing techniques. The consultation helps you to clear out all your questions and concerns about the procedure, brow shape, and colour of the pigment. You also get to know about the before and aftercare instructions. After this session, you will be more confident to choose the right technique for you and proceed with the treatment.
Do I get a chance to chose the color and the shape for my eyebrows before cosmetic tattooing?
absolutely. In the actual process, we have 45 minutes to outline and achieve your desired Brow Shape. Also, we discuss the color that you would like to have as a healed result.
Do you do touch-up on brow tattooing done by another artist?
Unfortunately not. Our touch up service is only for our existing clients. If you have had your brows done by another artist, you have to wait until your eyebrow color has fully faded. Once your brows are ready we will perform the whole procedure again.
Is cosmetic tattooing painful?
The procedure is not comfortable. The level of pain mainly depends on the persons’ pain threshold. However, even people with low pain tolerance can handle the situation quite well.
